Insulated Plasterboard: What is it used for?

Insulated plasterboard is mostly used to line external walls, which are usually bricks that do not provide effective insulation. It is more cost-effective to use fibreglass or foam to insulate spaces between internal walls than insulated plasterboard. It is also possible to use insulated plasterboard for ceilings, which keeps heat from escaping.
