PIR Insulation Board

The PIR insulation boards are simple to work with and easy to cut, so it is one of the most popular insulation materials. When materials are blended together using heat, gases are released and trapped in cells within the board, creating high thermal performance. Heat cannot readily pass through this type of insulation. Some PIR insulation boards are faced with foil or mineral glass, depending on their manufacturer and intended use. Foil facings resist moisture.
