As well as creating a cavity between the plasterboard lining and the wall, it can also create an acoustic or thermal solution with a width ranging from 25 to 130mm. Plasterboard linings can be installed in masonry walls, concrete soffits, timber joists, and steel columns and beams with the GL1 Lining Channel.
GL1 Lining Channel Studs are the metal stud partitions used to construct the Universal stud wall system. They are made from steel which is a versatile material that is strong and easy to use. The studs combine with plasterboard linings to provide excellent acoustic and thermal performance.
