60mm Metal I Stud is an essential component when making the stud wall and is for vertical use when making a wall. Metal stud is available in a wide range of widths, lengths and thicknesses which is dependent on the requirement of the build for strength, height, impact resistance and sound insulation.
Metal stud wall is quick to install whilst also offering an exceptional level of fire resistance. I stud can also boxed to form door and window apertures giving total flexibility in length.
As the Metal stud wall is a durable material you will also benefit from lower insurance premiums as there is a less risk of infection, fire, decay with metal stud partition.
The 60mm Metal I Stud is strong and versatile. The face of the stud has a knurled face which helps assist straight screws when drilling, making the work simple and straight forward. These metals have been tested and designed for use with British Gypsum plasterboards and more.

The higher you build, the stronger your partitions need to be, which can mean reducing room space. 60mm Metal I Stud use 0.7mm gauge metal, making them more robust than equivalent 'C' studs. This allows you to build taller, more impact resistant walls without making them thicker.
