Insulation Supplies for Kent
Kent combines some of the oldest housing in the South East with some of its biggest growth areas. Weatherboarded cottages, oast houses and timber-framed period homes sit alongside large new developments around Ebbsfleet, Dartford and Ashford, many of them built in timber frame.
Timber-frame new builds
Timber-frame homes are insulated between the studs rather than in a masonry cavity. Our timber and steel frame boards are made for that job, and a vapour control layer on the warm side protects the frame. See our membranes.
Period cottages and weatherboarded homes
Older Kent houses often have timber frames, lime plaster and wall constructions that need to breathe. Before insulating, check for listed status or conservation area rules, and talk to us about the build-up so you don't trap moisture against old timber. A loft top-up with loft roll is usually the safest first step.
Cladding and rainscreen projects
For commercial and residential schemes using rainscreen or cladding systems, we supply cladding insulation boards, plus fire-rated plasterboard and MF ceilings for the interiors.
Delivery across Kent
We deliver to Dartford, Maidstone, Canterbury, Ashford, Tunbridge Wells, Medway and the rest of the county. Deliveries are kerbside with crane offload. Rural lanes can limit lorry access, so let us know if your site is down a narrow track. Check stock before 10am for next-day options; standard delivery is 2–3 working days.
Kent FAQs
Which insulation is best for a timber-frame wall?
Boards or slabs sized to fit between the studs, with a vapour control layer on the room side. Tell us the stud depth and spacing and we'll match a product.
Can I insulate a listed cottage?
Often, yes, but many changes need listed building consent. Speak to your council's conservation officer first.
Do you cover Essex and Surrey?
Yes. See our Essex and Surrey pages.
